ESOL Sessions (Level 1 & 2)

Tuesday 9.30am - 10.30am

We are currently holding English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) sessions in the centre. South Tyneside Council are delivering sessions in the centre. Contact South Tyneside College to register for this course.

 

We are happy to have received funding through the Community Foundation Tampon Tax fund enabling the centre to run additional ESOL sessions for members.

 

Tuesday 10.45am - 11.45am

Entry level conversation sessions

 

These English conversation classes are aimed towards those women with a basic level of spoken English. Speak to a member of the Apna Ghar team if you would like to register your interest.

 

Wednesday 1.00pm - 2.00pm 

Level 2/3 conversation sessions

 

These English conversation classes are aimed towards those women who are  already confident using English. You’ll broaden your vocabulary and improve your skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Speak to a member of the Apna Ghar team if you would like to register your interest.
