Whether you need help with learning English, meet
like-minded people at our social events or learn new skills, we have programmes that can help you achieve your aims.
First Tuesday, each month
Caring for Carers
Join our support group, which meets on the first Tuesday of each month to get information and advice and meet others who are caring for loved ones.

Level Two Carers' Course
Accredited Adults Carers' course to help you achieve a career in Care.
9.30 - 11.30 Tuesdays
Level One Carers' Course
Study to achieve your Level One certificate in Care. This will also give you access and funding to study a Level Two Diploma in Adult Care.
10.00 - 12.30 Wednesdays
Bring out your creativity and relax your mind with Art Therapy. Bring those ideas to life.
10.00 - 11.00 Thursdays
South Tyneside College ESOL Entry Level 3
We have a College based class in Apna Ghar which is an accredited entry level 3 class.
13.15 - 14.15 Mondays
Get back into shape and stay fit with our
in-house fitness trainer.
9.30 - 11.30 Wednesdays
Learn a new skill or polish what you know already. Can be helpful for your career or just as a hobby and to make new friends.
12.00 - 14.00 Wednesdays
If English isn't your first language, this literacy class for beginners can pave the way for you to attend an accredited ESOL class.

English Conversation Classes for Carers
Don't feel confident studying at our Carers' course due to your speaking? Don't worry, we can support and help you be ready and confident with our conversation classes. this will open the door to Level One Adult and Childcare.

professionals about subjects you have already told us you are interested in, such as Healthy
eating, Diabetes, Exercise, Maintaining a healthy mind.

Around the Centre
Our centre is based in the heart of South Shields with easy access to the town centre and great transport links.
We have a Learning Centre where you can access a range of in-house courses and focus groups, as well as a fully equipped sewing class.
We have a fully equipped computer suite with eight workstations. Join us for IT classes, or pop in to make use of our free internet facilities.
